DR1 Dark Matter Particles
Raw Particle data is written in standard Gadget-2 format (unformatted fortran).
Uchuu: We provide for all snapshots - including the initial conditions - dark matter particles with a sampling rate of 0.5%, which yields 10 billion particles per snapshot (i. e., 320GB).
The number of files per snapshot is 200, with an average number of particles per file of 5e7 (i. e., 1.6GB).
The number of snapshots are 51 (50 epochs plus the ICs, i. e., snapdir_000).
Total data set is 16TB.
mini-Uchuu: We provide for all snapshots - including the initial conditions - all dark matter particles. Each snapshot has 16.8 billion particles (i. e., 520GB).
The number of files per snapshot is 400 (1280 files for ICs), with 242 million particles particles (i. e., 1.3GB).
The number of snapshots are 51 (50 epochs plus the ICs, i. e., snapdir_000).
Total data set is 26TB.
micro-Uchuu: We provide for all snapshots - including the initial conditions - all dark matter particles. Each snapshot has 262 million particles (i. e., 8GB).
There is a single files per snapshot (160 files for ICs), with an average number of particles per file of ~Z.ZeZ particles (i. e., 8.3GB).
The number of snapshots are 51 (50 epochs plus the ICs, i. e., snapdir_000).
Total data set is 0.4TB.
Shin-Uchuu: We provide for all snapshots - including the initial conditions - dark matter particles with a sampling rate of 1/64, which yields 4.1 billion particles per snapshot (i. e., 131GB).
The number of files per snapshot is 200, with an average number of particles per file of 2.0e7 (i. e., 0.64GB).
The number of snapshots are 71 (70 epochs plus the ICs, i. e., snapdir_000).
Total data set is 8.5TB.

- C++ code to read Gadget-2 format files. Gadget-2 data can also be analysed using yt, pynbody and LensTools.
